No matter what industry you’re in we all use computers for something, either at home or at work. As small business owners, we all have a lot of data we simply can not lose. This is why backing up our data is so important.
There are a couple of ways to do this. You can pay to have a monthly subscription for a cloud service like OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive to name a few. These are great ways to back up your data and be able to access it anywhere you need it.
You can also keep your data on your laptop or computer but purchase an external hard drive. At Russtek we do both. We have external hard drives as well as use a cloud storage service to make sure our data is always backed up. With our data on a cloud storage server as doing weekly, monthly and yearly backups to an external hard drive, our data and our clients data is very safe!
