What does that date have to do with anything? On March 22nd 2018 I joined Rachel Pedersen’s Social Media United and became a member of the SMU Crew.
Back in December of 2017 a friend of mine introduced me to Social Media United. A social media University with all the training I would need to become a social media manager and a whole lot more. The cool part about that is there was a trial for just $1.
Now, this trial is usually only a 7 day trial and as amazing as that is, back in December of 2017 I was lucky enough to have that trial for an entire 30 days. So I spent the $1 and dove into all the training I could to learn as much as I could so that I could begin my journey as not only an entrepreneur but a social media manager.
The mistake I made during that time was after I dove into all the training I didn’t continue in SMU, and at the time, I didn’t see the value in the monthly subscription. The subscription was not only to have access to the courses but the private Facebook group with the best social media managers in the world.
Shortly after the trial had ended I realized I missed not only the courses and new training being released all the time but even more so the community and the private Facebook Group. In Rachel’s private SMU Facebook Group, it’s filled with the top social media managers in the world and not only that, this is the best run group I have ever been a part of.
This is a group that is all about value and very rarely a chance to promote your business. This is meant to be that way to avoid spam in the group. It’s a supportive group where other social media managers and entrepreneurs help each other and support each other in our journey’s.
That’s why when I created the Entrepreneur Momentum group, I wanted to model what Rachel was doing and have a group that wasn’t filled with spam but provide a ton of value so that as entrepreneurs we can help each other grow!
