Hi! It's been awhile!
I know it’s been awhile and something I always preach is growing and talking to your list yet here I am, completely neglecting it. Do as I say, not as I do, right? With a new app I’ve started using to help me be more efficient, that’s going to change.
So, let’s dive right into the value, shall we?
Voicepal: Revolutionizing My Writing Process
I’m not sure why I waited so long to try Ali Abdaal’s new app, Voicepal, but in just a couple of days it’s completely transformed how I write newsletters and YouTube scripts.
Instead of sitting at my desk typing, I can speak into the app during my daily walks. It transcribes everything and converts it into the content I need. As an example, I’ve already written 3,000 words and saved nearly an hour of time in just a few days. Over time, this will save me countless hours while allowing me to be more active and creative.
I highly recommend trying it out from whatever app store you use, Google or Apple.
Did you know, Eating "That Frog" can help avoid burning out?
I’ve always loves using the “eat the frog” method to tackle my to-do list more effectively but.
This method involves identifying the top three most important tasks for the day. If I complete those, my day is considered productive and successful.
Why bring that up again? I recently listened to a podcast episode and was inspired by Ali Abdall’s story about almost burning out while trying to treat an endless line of patients while he was an ER doctor.
It reminded me of my time working at the Beer Store, where I thought I could handle an endless holiday rush, only to realize it wasn’t possible.
As an entrepreneur with an endless task list, “eating the frog” helps me focus on what truly matters.
To prioritize, I use the PARA method: Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archives.
Tasks with due dates or immediate deadlines go to the top, while ongoing but less urgent tasks are moved down the list.
Have you tried this to tackle your To-Do List?
Travelling Light: Balancing Work and Relationships
Recently, I started dating someone who lives three hours away. The distance isn’t ideal, but we are making it work, and I’ll admit, I haven’t been this happy in years.
As an entrepreneur and freelancer, though, I’m grateful for the flexibility to work remotely while travelling.
My Samsung Galaxy Book 4, Ugreen Uno 65-Watt Charger, and portable Galaxy Watch charger make it easy to stay productive on the go.
I’ve also started to really take full advantage of my Kroser EDC Backpack to pack everything I need like a weekend’s worth of clothes and essentials as well as everything I need for work.
This eliminates the need for multiple bags and makes travelling much more efficient.
