Mastering Engagement: Content Strategies for Webinars and Social Media
It’s been a crazy week trying to get ahead of things again because next week, I’m off to Hamilton to see my girlfriend again.
Having the ability to work remotely is a lifesaver when it comes to long distance relationships, that’s for sure, but I do want to get as much done as possible so I can spend as much time as possible with her this weekend.
To do that, I used what I talk about in this post!
Enjoy!
The Perfect Webinar
If you’ve ever read any of Russell Brunson’s books, one of the things he talks about is The Perfect Webinar. At its core, it is obviously about doing webinars. But the strategy and the framework that he used to build a perfect webinar can be used for just about everything. Because at its core, it is a storytelling framework.
To use this, start off with an introduction. Tell the audience who you are. Connect with the audience. Obviously, start with a hook if you are using this framework on social media, whether it be a short form video, a long form video, whatever the case is. But you want to connect with the audience first.
Then you want to tell “3 secrets”. So the topic could be anything, but you want to take that topic and break it out into three parts. Those are your “3 secrets”.
At the end, you want to have a call to action (CTA). This is something that your audience will do. Like and share, follow for more, click this link, comment this, whatever the case may be. But make sure the audience is engaged with a CTA. The more you do this, the more you’ll relate with your audience, and the more engagement you’ll eventually get.
Social Media is All About Being Social
Now, we talked about The Perfect Webinar and how using that can help better relate to your audience and get more engagement. Now, let’s talk about something I have said before and will continue to say, social media is all about being social! It’s that simple! Never ever post and ghost. What does that mean? That means you schedule your content, and then you forget about it once it goes up.
Schedule times throughout the day, or when you’re doom-scrolling at night, to engage online with your target audience. Search topics that your audience wants to see, and start engaging on those videos, leaving ten, fifteen comments on the videos, however long you want to take. But the more you engage with other videos, the more eyes will be brought to your content, and the more engagement you will in turn get.
Creating Content: Batch for Success
Now, when it comes to creating content, batching your content is the best way to do this. What you want to do is find out when you’re most productive. If you’re a morning person, that could be first thing in the morning. If you’re somebody who is a night owl, maybe late at night. Whatever works best for you.
Take the type of content you want to create, whether that be all of your Facebook and Instagram posts, create all the copy and the images at the same time. If you’re creating videos, plan out your videos, and then do all the filming all at the same time. This will help save you time, and it’ll help save you from burning out trying to create content on the fly. Planning ahead and batch creating all of your work is the best way to go
Are you ready to create some awesome content now?
